We haven't had a firearm related thread in a while. Acquired this 629 this week because of a really good deal (like half price) from a relative, and the darned black bears where I go in NC.
XXL #82 out of the first 100, XLGE X 2, LBGE (gave this one to daughter 1.0) , MBGE (now in the hands of iloveagoodyoke daughter 2.0) and lots of toys

Nice score Doc! I like S&W revolvers too. I have a 642 (38) & a 686 (357). However, my EDC is a Kahr PM9, a semi-auto.Flint, Michigan

The Baby Glock is a nice piece. For me I like a single stack for concealed carry. I got a screaming deal on the Kahr because it's previous owner wanted a Glock 43 when it came out. Right place at the right time and I like the Kahr.Flint, Michigan

On top is the first firearm I ever owned. S&W K-38 Combat Masterpiece. Below is what I carried on the road, Colt Python 6 inch. My off duty gun was a Colt Commander .45, which I sadly traded in on something else. In 1974 I paid $125 for the Smith, in 1976 I paid $350 for the Colt.

That Colt Python is a sweet piece. The market price on that gun has went crazy over the last few years.
