Round ball for my .58 Christian Springs Rifle.  I don't have a camera or set up to take really good pics.  This was a present from my father when he was dying.  Two hours of back ache and I have enough ball for a couple of shoots.

The rifle's name is Argyle.  The carving on the cheek of the stock is the Campbell crest, Ne Obliviscaris, Lest We Forget, with a boars head. The buckle is mastodon ivory.  Inside the the patch box is a plate that says In Memory of Cecil Gordon Jenkins Sr., All the Way.  There are back to back AA's on the muzzle cap to represent the All American Division, the 82nd Airborne.   A lot of Scottish images all over her.

Very nice. I would hate to count the numbers of pounds of BP I've burned over the years. Heck, smokeless is just a passing fad.
    Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

If it ain't got a rock, it ain't a rifle.

Not the first time I've shared this rifle.  Hope I am not overboard with it, but I like showing it to my friends.

I have a percussion .72 English sporting rifle that's a hoot. Flintlocks are very cool too.

I used to hunt with a group that had .72's and .78's and one guy had a .90 named the Hog Homogenizer.  They called my .58 the squirrel rifle.  We all hunted with rock grinders.
