BGE with Amex Points

Does anyone know if there is a place to buy a BGE using AMEX points?

Maybe Ace hardware?  I bought my egg there. Not sure if they are on the Amex point list.  Steinhauffel and Abt are the only other two big chain stores I know of selling eggs

Another idea - use the points to buy gift cards on eBay.     The three aforementioned stores should have fairly liquid gc's

I think the points are 100/1. You can have them cut you a check I believe.

I'm asking for a friend. My first convert.

He lives in Chicago so perhaps ABT.

They do have  **** ton of points as they use the card for everything and the wife travels a lot.

Steinhauffels will price match Abt, with an additional 10% refund (that's how I got my plate setter).    But as others noted, their points converting to store gift cards are the same as just cashing them out.
