Please take a minute to post a picture of your egg table here on my post please!! I am building mine and want some ideas. I have looked at a lot on here and other sites as well. But If you fine folks don't mind tell me what material you used, what stain if any, and the top coat if any how many coats and brand as well!! If you have drawers, show them and cabinets also (opened and closed). I would greatly appreciate it!! I love this site and can't wait to get to cooking. Oh and an approximate time it took as well as cost of materials if you don't mind!!

Welcome to the forum. Good luck with your table. Besides using the search box, there's another site, I think it was the naked whiz that has a huge table section. Google search will also bring up a ton of tables when you hit images.Phoenix

So, you want folks to "take a minute" to re-post their tables that was probably already posted in this section already?
Personally, I'd take a minute to search this section first and the Internets, then post.
Pretty sure there's a thread to show your tables off.
Pintrest has a lot of help too.

I have literally been looking at every table on the Internet for a couple of months. But I would like to know details of some of them. Yes nakedwhiz and Pinterest has a ton of ideas and pictures. I am trying to waterproof mine as well as trying to decide on a finish. If folks don't have the time to post their info or pics I do understand that. I just wanted a one stop shop for me to keep track.

Mine is a pretty simple setup but it serves my needs.

I am with @tarheelmatt on this one. We have a forum dedicated to "tables" that probably has every table ever built by members. Not a shortage of info for tables for sure. We are all proud of our projects, and have already posted pictures and details. If you are interested in ones personal design (or cost), just post in his/her discussion and I am sure that person will reply with more detail!!!

Mine is being built as I type this. Cedar table in the back, pre stain. Concrete top is still curing in the mold in the foreground. I still plan to stain and seal the table with spar urethane. I'm debating on whether or not to acid stain the concrete top.
This is project is about a week old, but about two years in the making. I've debated over and over about exactly what I want. I finally decided on a 5' long table with the Egg centered, so I could have two separate workspaces on either side. One for food prep, and the other was a place for the AR to go when I need to access the coals. I went with concrete, because I wanted something durable, stain resistant, and able to withstand heat. I crack open the mold tomorrow. I'll flip it over to see how it took to the melamine. I'm excited, but nervous. Hopefully I'll have my own brag post in a week or so when it's finished!LBGE since June 2012
