Stopped at Kroger and picked up a ribeye and a strip, asperagus and some shrooms. Raising the steaks by Dizzy Pig on the beef and evoo and sp for the veg. Sauted shrooms inside. Couple glasses of a nice Franciscan Cabernet 07'. Thanks for looking

This combo is out family favorite. Steak, asparagus, and (usually baked) potato!
love it.
@pgprescott. What is your cook temp and time on those steaks. Look done perfectly. I am kind of still hit or miss trying to zero in on the med rare

@A31unit I cooked these around 500-600. Time is tricky as I really cook steaks by feel. If they start to firm up past what the firmness is of the palm of your hand you are too done. I have much better results with steaks and chops cooking by feel. Roast or larger cuts is another matter. Give it a try and trust your gut. Remember you can cook a steak further if needed, but once it's over it's over. Cheers!
