Skillet pork chops w/apples and onions (pic heavy)

SWMBO found the recipe in Southern Living online and asked, "Is it egg worthy?"
We had potatoes in the Dutch oven as a side.

Pork chops go in the skillet to brown up.

After the pork is browned, then add the onion and apple to get a little color.

After that, deglaze w/chicken stock. Then add cream mixed with some Dijon mustard. When it is bubbly, add the pork apples and onion back to the pan.

While that reduced I fetched the 'taters.

Then I brought in the pork chops.

SWMBO was pleased. This was really very good.

Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"
