I have the golf club made by the digi q people. Sadly, they are no longer available. Love mine. It is just some tubing with a SS pipe on the end. Has a flame spreader on the bent end that rablea a golf club. Haven't seen another type other than the small weed burners. I have one of these as well not as nice though. The one on the right is the golf club.

It has a long enuf wand that your tender bits are not exposed to the sparks.  It's self lighting, and you attach one of the small canisters of MAPP or Propane.  It's all self contained.  Mine has lasted almost 3 years now.

eggor years ago made a shield to fit over the torch.  would not be hard to fashion a home made one out of aluminum.  t

I almost took a spark in the eye the other day lighting some RO. Time to start wearing goggles.

What is awesome about the golf club is the ability to walk away. It is not as aggressive as a larger weed burner or rose bud.

Maybe put on a cooking apron before you start?  I've also burned some small holes in my shirts as well.

I have the same one.  A weed burner from Lowes.  They're cheap & effective.
