OT - WAY OT Anybody planning on making a larger HOME DEPOT purchase in the near future?
Hi all. So I just found out I have a sizable credit to use up.
I had my pressure washer in for service under my extended warranty. Long story short -- they hit it with a truck and they decided to issue me a credit for my purchase price instead of fixing it. This morning they sent me an E-Credit for $973.73, and I don't really need anything, but could use the cash.
If anyone is going to be making a larger purchase at Home Dept, I'd accept $850 for the e-card. I'll email you the card and you mail me a check once you've successfully used the e-credit. An e-credit is just a gift card via email - Home Depot will accept it just like cash in the store or online. PM if interested.
If this is too off topic and offends anyone, my apologies. I've posted here because of all the remodels going on, I thought this could be a win / win.

On the same topic, if anyone ever wants free 10% off coupons to Lowe's (which can be used at Home Depot and Menards as well), just send me an email your name, mailing address, and email address. Make sure it's your legit email that you check, because that's how they are sent. This isn't some 3rd party spamming deal either, it's directly through Lowe's in a program I participate in.
Also, anytime you're at Home Depot spending over a few thousand dollars, make sure you sign up for the professional/contractor discount. They'll give you a even bigger discount, on top of whatever coupons you're using. I think it's $1500 if you have a contractor account, and $3000 if you don't. -
