finally got the xl egg in the table.  Completed the stain and inserted the egg, just going to add the hooks and a few finishing touches but really pleased with how it has turned out
Table is complete now to enjoy the journey

It looks nice!  Just curious, why did you make it so low?  It looks lower than many I've seen.

i did it lower because I like the look of it sitting lower in the table
the hot plates are slate

Ok, thanks.   It could double as a coffee table as well..  Put a few coasters on it and fire up some wings for the game.
