There is good BBQ everywhere and I try to have it in different places in the US when I can.  I of being from KC am partial to it, but would like to try other kinds at some point in my life.  I have had some Texas BBQ in the eastern part of the state, but have yet to try it anywhere else in the state so far.  It was ok to me.  Remember with BBQ it's what you have accustomed to having or what you grew up with.  I really never had real BBQ tell I came to KC in 1985.  There are some places here I have had that I will not go back to, because it is not worth it to me.  I hope to try North Carolina, South Carolina, Memphis, Georgia, other Texas and any other BBQ at some point in my life.

Have eaten at both of those and eat at Lil Richards often since they too are close to home...both do a very good job and you will find no lipstick on the pig....good ole smoked tender Q with tea and hush puppies.  By the way BBQ is a fast food in the Carolina's...

@Ladeback69 you aren't missing much with GA BBQ
  • Didn't know GA had a style. Maybe it's sliced pork swimming in sauce?
