Multiple pork butts at once on XL BGE

Cooking 4 ten pound butts tomorrow on BGE XL. I never done this many at one time and would love some feedback about if it will take longer than normal and how to place all 4 on one shelve without effecting air flow. Thanks in Advance

I have done 4 at a time, takes no longer at all.
To get proper airspace, I used an AR for two levels of cooking. -
In the process of doing two on a large, actually seems to be cooking faster than the last solo butt. But from what I have read it shouldn't take any longer.

Time is not an issue. Make sure you have a large/deep enough drip pan to contain all the renderings that will accumulate. It is not safe to have to empty a pan of scalding fat mid cook. Don't ask how I know this tidbit of info.A poor widows son.

What Bettysnephew said. I always trim the fat cap off and also the hard fat then rub them and on they go at 250 GRID temp so about 275 dome. Let er rip. I also place the thickest part of the butt to the hot spot. If they start off touching a little no big issue as they will shrink when they are cooking. Good luck.1 XXL BGE, 1 LG BGE, 2 MED.
