Have to edit to say I can in fact remember the best steak I, previously, ever had....Thorton River Grill in Sperryville VA
Anyway.....Got a dry aged prime strip at Wegmans on a "today's special" (ie sell by today). Normally a $28/lb steak for $15/lb.
seasoned with my fave seasoning...Simply Organics Chophouse Seasoning
Served with some roasted potatoes. Also sautéed shrooms and onions with garlic and thyme. Mixture set aside and pan deglazed with red wine and then chic broth and worsterschire added.
