finally went and got about 90 lbs of chile this weekend 60 lbs of med and 30 hot 

have about 104 bags in the freezer

Well that's a helluvva setup to roast things in. What do you do out there besides peppers?

Looks like you either have a huge family, live on a kibbutz or have a commercial operation going on.  But either way, I'm envious.  I could make a few bushels of hatch ice cream quick with that setup.

Looks like I just went to the same place in Corrales, NM yesterday. The smell of a fire-roasted chilé (my first time) was amazing.

Roasted about 4 lbs myself a few weeks ago and about 25 lbs last year. The smell reminds me of my grandma's house in Albuquerque - nothing like it!
