OT - How Did You Do This Week in Fantasy Football?

In my dynasty league, I play two games every week.  I beat the kommish and more importantly, I beat my daughter!  Gronks put me over the top!  How did your week 1 in fantasy football go?

Fred, usually I frown upon parents beating their daughters.  In your case, she probably is a strong person given the caveman upbringing in Flintrock and can take a beat down better than the average girl.

All is fair in love and fantasy football.  Last year my daughter beat me the first week and because we had a side bet, I had to change my icon here to a girly picture from My Little Pony until I played her again a couple of weeks later.  That Sucked!  Revenge is sweet and I went on to win our league championship

I'm in two leagues.  One called "the big league" and another I call "the small league".  They're called that just for the stakes.  One has larger entry fees and is with some guys that have played Fantasy Football since the 80's!  

Big league - I got beat.  Carlos Hyde ate my lunch!  

Small league - I won pretty easily.

I'm only in one league.  It's a dynasty league with a 25 man roster including a head coach & no IR.  We cut down to 15 before the 10 round draft each Labor Day.  My first year in this league was Gronks rookie year.  I knew he was a scoring machine so grabbed him in the first round & was ridiculed mercilessly.  I always have and continue to be proud of that pick.

We've toyed with a keeper type league but haven't done it.  We're 18 roster, PPR league with 12 teams.  Your draft is very important for sure.

I feel really good about my team this year. 

While led waiting for LeVeon, I won scoring over a hundred points.  100 isn't super impressive, but when Eli only puts up 8 and none of my RBs or WRs scored a TD, I'm hype.  My RBs are yardage monsters who get active in the passing game and my receivers get a TON of targets.  I think this week is an outlier and with better QB play and inevitable TDs from skill positions, I have a shot at the championship.


Week 1 overreaction?  Yea, probably.  Don't rain on my parade

Gave a fellow egghead the highly coveted Biggest Blowout Award for her first FF game Week 1.  She got me back with yet another Pack win over Da Bears though.
