Found a few of these @ Costco and had to pick one up:

Bought one a couple of weeks ago, cut the point off and did it last weekend, both pieces were great

@nolaegghead, your Costco is selling @ 3.29 like Terrebandit's. Your brisket looks like it is in a comfortable ride home,  my brisket is sitting in my egg @ 235 ish and just entered the stall.

Bob, I gave my brisket shotgun on the ride home as I didn't have my soft side cooler in the trunk as usual.  I'm prepping the egg for a morning launch targeting an 8 PM LSU game tomorrow.    Good luck!

@nolaegghead, I am 11 hours in and sitting at 189. Walking outside this morning a movie quote came to mind which I have modified here:

Not all the Costco's carry whole packer briskets to my surprise. Lucky for me the one in Naperville has them. They charge 6.99 per lb for the choice packers.

I buy those almost weekly at Costco in Dallas.  Think I pay somewhere around 2.99 to 3.29 pound.

$6.99 per pound for choice? That makes me feel even better about my $3.79 per pound for the prime despite nolaegghead getting his for $3.29. Naperville, IL I am assuming...

@nolaegghead, thanks for sharing. Looks good... always nice to get a thumbs up from your guests. Your Tigers survived yesterday... need to buy young Devon Bell a drink and say thanks, he needs one after missing that kick. Will that TV be tuned in on the Saints this afternoon?

Interesting to see the varying prices at Costco. I wonder if it is the timing between September and December or you think location as well? I paid $2.79/lb over Thanksgiving in Louisville. Maybe winter is the time to load up!
