OG Owner? If so that's what the warranty is for!

It's covered under warranty, but just something I don't want to deal with. The XL is still packed up, so the timing isn't great!Kennesaw Ga. XL Egg. Cheers, Kevin

No bueno ....
Time for some pics to your dealer. Luckily the shortage has passed so parts should be available.Maybe your purpose in life is only to serve as an example for others? - LPL

I expect to have a cracked base, firebox, fire ring at some point. I just don't know when. When it does occur, I'll contact my dealer and push forward with the warranty. No worries here.XL BGE, 22" Weber Red Head, Fiesta Gasser .... Peoria,AZ

I believe we'll see a lot more of this the way the nest/carrier is made. I kinda figured Blake's would be the first, the way his seems to live on the road.Slumming it in Aiken, SC.

Your dealer should take care of that in a jiffy (if he's worth his salt).
What happened to your thermo? looks somewhat melty. Could explain the crack in your base.

I do transport mine at least once a week and it gets used 2-5x per week. However, when transporting I do my best in making sure it has cooled off. That doesn't always happen because of timing. I always ensure it's secure in the bed of the truck. The little feet help absorb some minor road pimples. I don't ever go over railroad tracks, bumps or potholes like a bat outta hell (but, I don't know where every bump is on every road so I've occasional hit them on longer road trips). Yours cracked under normal usage which does suck but, is warranty.
