Maiden Cook

First cook on the new XL.  The Spouse made French Bread Mini Loafs Crusted with Caraway and Sea Salt.  I made the compound butter with green onions, garlic, garden basil and parsley.  Just a touch of red wine, sea salt and ground pepper.  We shared the cook, I filled and lit the XL, and monitored the temp.  The Spouse made the loafs and kept track of time.  These were supposed to be a side to some steaks, but after the first experimental taste ended up being the main course with a little cheese and an apple.  Steaks tomorrow.  The shiny Egg in that nest is the new chick. 

Took one of the warm loafs and some butter to the lady next door.

PS damned web site re-sorted the order of my pics.  I hate that.  Oh well, you'll get it.
