Weekend Egging Has Begun

SmokingPiney

It's a four day weekend in the house of Piney. By my wife's request, I kicked it off with Moroccan chicken skewers (thanks, @evie1370 for posting this a while back)....one of my favorite cooks. It's boneless, skinless chicken thighs tossed with paprika, cumin, a little salt, and chopped parsley. Cooked 400 raised direct for a little over 12 minutes, rotating during the cook. I served it with grilled shrimp, couscous, and a Caprese salad. Sorry....no plated pics......we were hungry!

@SmokingPiney - great start right there. Most eggcellent. Enjoy whatever is following on your extended weekend.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

And the baby backs are done - Micky turbo style 350 indirect for 1 hour, 45 minutes, rubbed with McCormicks Tennessee Smokehouse, smoked with a couple of peach wood chunks and sauced with doctored Sweet Baby Rays.

Good thing you have an extended cooking program on your plate as a big part of the BGE eggsperience is the protracted SWMBO eggscape time. Not to mention the supervisory adult beverages. Somehow, turbo seems to cut through all those attributes.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Turbo was OK, Lou. The wife is floating in the pool and I have dinner ready when she gets out.....gotta keep the peace.
Tomorrow is brisket time.Living the good life smoking and joking -
@SmokingPiney - I'm all in. Head-faking the Sunday cooks; ABT's and some chix breasts but Monday is a quarterly (or there about) SRF brisket. Tuesday AM could be a challengeLouisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.
