Best Labor Day Baby Back Rib recipe

My 40Th is Labor day... I have experience with cooking great ribs... but I am looking for something a bit different than comp ribs, or different than mine anyway :-). I normally use a "typical rib" bbq rub with sugar in the raw after rubbing the ribs in mustard, than after a few hours remove from the BGE and add honey, brown sugar and butter and foil wrap for an hour, remove and add BBQ sauce add back to BGE high heat for 30 min. Incredible... but getting boring. Really hoping everyone has a great Labor Day Weekend!!! Best BBQ weekend in the USA.

Ditch the ribs, do a pork shoulder. Pulled pork is what you should have on your menu this year!I've slow smoked and eaten so much pork, I'm legally recognized as being part swine - Chatsworth Ca.

Do beef ribs...it's better

Ribs are ribs. Yes, you can season them differently or serve them dry or glazed, but they're still ribs. Brisket with a couple of pork tenderloins or a spatchcocked chicken is always a good change of pace
Any road will take you there if you don't know where you're going.

The best ribs I've made yet, and some of the best I've ever had, were the "Bourbon-Glazed Ribs" from the Smoke & Spice book. The recipe's on this forum, too. Their "Bour-BQ Sauce" was so good it ought to be illegal!
We all have different tastes, maybe you won't like it, but I thought it was amazing! (And no need to mess with wrapping and unwrapping and all of that mess.) -
May not be a egg recipe, but I like an Alton Brown recipe for a change of pace

@SoCalTim you convinced me, I did ribs today and tomorrow will be Filet from Costco. Can't go wrong. Tho I didn't choose Pork butt, I agreed with you that this weekend deserved better than typical BBQ. :-)
