What about this little wager.  The losing team has to use the winning team's logo/mascot as their avatar until the next game.   Anyone in?

Yea @johnkitchens not sure why, but we always matchup well against you.  We had no business beating you last year.  Not sure why that is.

I would have taken you up on that wager though. I like fun things like that. 

Ugly game though. The 4th down call was not expected,  but that's the coaches call. QB just cannot throw to the other team twice in the end zone.

Gamecock fan here. Questionable play calling from Fedora tonight. Why they did not give Elijah Hood more than 12 carries is beyond me

That was a largely ugly game on both sides. But not surprised.

UNC's QB is garbage. Dude's head isn't capable of turning to the right. Staring down every receiver. Terrible.

Mitch is weak. Terrible call on our 4th a 2 feet as well.  At least we tackled better.  Our D is much better than last year.

For the record, the tailgate was outstanding ....will have to take my word for it...don't think i snapped a single picture. Much easier riding back to Columbia 1-0. Got a lot of work to do.

Both teams looked very immature and star struck. Still glad the gamecocks pulled it off.  @northGAcock , we gotta tailgate sometime.

Gonna be a long season.  Shotgun from 4th and 1"?  Then try a sneak from over a yard out with a skinny kid QB?  Good thing UNC's QB thought our guys were his receivers.  Phew.

henapple, I was at the game and didn't see and introconceptions going on at the game. I did see some lovely ladies, but no one was introconceptioning that I could tell. 

@4Runner  Now that I got the above cleared up (just bustin on ya henapple), I was up in North Carolina this weekend at a family event. Of course I wore my finest Gamecock shirt to ensure some good healthy conversation. According to that bunch, they (NC) had no quarterback, Fedora is on his last year....and they should have run the ball more while in the red zone. Well they are likely right on at least two of the three.

I guess if you're a UNC fan, the QB was the reason you lost.

 As a SC fan, a great defensive player prevented two touchdowns and helped win the game.

Regardless, our defense played their assignments to make plays that we didn't make last year.  I'm certain we lose that game with last year's D.  On to UK this weekend at the Brice.
