My wife got a big butt
My wife just brought home a 16 lb pork shoulder (probably 2 x 8 lbs pieces) to cook for a Labor Day party . I was planning on 1.25 to 1.5 hours per pound at 250 degrees at the dome. Does that sound like a reasonable amount of time for the cook?

I'm going to need pics of said butt.

If you stay at 250 the entire time I would estimate based on 1.5-2 hours. Note this is for 1 butt and doesn't make a difference if you are cooking 2. So, you are looking 12-16 hours.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
