I would look on craigslist. Around here you can find it reclaimed from old buildings. They should carry it at specialty lumber stores. If you can't find 4x4, you can buy 2x4 or 1 by 4 and glue it together.

Welcome to the forum. Here are a couple of sites for starters:

Where in Atlanta, Josh???
I am southside and have heard of a few places, mostly like the specialty building yards, or 84 Lumber, that can obtain stuff like that easily.
Now there's a guy in Fayetteville that has his own mill and will cut things down for cheap. He's got a lot of cedar that he's collected and let dry out on his property.
Now I bet that the further south you go towards Savannah and the like, the easier you could find some GA swamp cypress.

I'm in Cumming. I have called around and been unable to find anyone with 4x4's. I may have to glue up some if I can't find any.

Remember, if you get the lumber from a store, it wont be a true 4x4. I think those are normally 3.5x3.5. @Nolaegghead can correct me since he is a great woodsmith....
If you want true 4x4, you will have to have them cut to order.LBGE since 2014

Howdy, about to build a cedar or KDAT table and in my research came across this site & post. Wanted to add one to the list...

These guys were friendly, and have a wide selection of Cedar. Norcross Supply was also good, but was a further drive for me. -
I don't recommend cypress for smokin. It is best for building structures.
