So doing hot wings for a group of friends. I like to

I smoke indirect, then fry, then toss. I also seperate drumlette, winglette, and pitch the tip.

@bgebrent I rotate my batches from bottom to top. With it raised indirect. I like it that way. I will have to try smoke first to get some smoke flavor in them next time.

Sad to say it's just a single level batch for me and SWMBO so no need to rotate. Sad only cuz I like putting 80 on the XL!
Put a fist size piece of pecan/Apple/cherry on your fire just before throwing your wings on and you'll get nice smoke. Again, nice lookin wings! Sandy Springs & Dawsonville Ga -
