iGrill horror story but Firecraft to the rescue

well a few weeks (3 1/2) back my wife decided to be nice and order me an iGrill 2, but it never arrived....after multiple calls and attempts to find my product I got them to refund me.  I kept being told that they would be happy to overnight one but nope never got it.  Well today I called got my refund and quickly placed a call to Firecraft.....they are great to deal with, told me to avoid the iGrill and go with Maverick ET 735.  Best of all it should be here Saturday for me.  I can't say enough good about them at this point there customer service can't be beat.

Any reason to avoid the igrill? I was thinking of getting the igrill 2.

Nothing wrong with it as a product just couldn't get them to actually ship my product.  The advantage of the ET 735 is water resistant and water proof probes.  All probes are duke function and it is cheaper.  If you check with Firecraft they sell both and can run down the list of pros and cons.  I ordered an extra probe and was still cheaper than iGrill

I had problems with iDevices when I ordered mine. It was during the probe recall. I understood the recall, but the story of we're expecting it next week every week got old. Maverick has been doing thermos for a long time. I just glanced at the specs and think this thing is much better than the iGrill 2 and it's cheaper. Please post your reviews. I'm particularly interested in app function and range. I'm not a fan of the iGrill app or its Bluetooth range. I've been hoping they'd upgrade the app. From the pic, the Maverick app looks easier to read.

@stemc33 as soon as I get a chance to use it a few times I'll post a review of app and functionality.
