Grid for fish grilling

Yesterday I grilled fish fillets ( stuffed ) but they all were severly stuck to the standard stainless steel grid. Does anybody has any good tips to prevent this in the future ? I've been looking foor special fish grids where you put the fish in, but they're never big enough to hold fish ...

Go down to the local fabricating shop and ask him to cut some expanded metal out for you the diameter your grate.

Just spray your stainless grid with Pam first.

I place thin lemon or orange slices on the grate and place filets on top of them, prevents sticking and gives a little citrus flavor as well.

I have been using the Weber Style 6435 Professional-Grade Grill Pan for years.  I have two of them - fish, shrimp, veggies, etc. - anything delicate.  Oil spray it, pre-heat on grill/oven, cook (no warping,etc.), brush off then into dishwasher.  Eventhough they are SS, mine now have a bronzed non-stick coating.  Highest stamp of approval.

They have other styles, never used them, never needed to.

+1 for the frogmats. Probably the best solution for fish on the egg IMO
