Looking At Buying A Used XL EGG

HI!
I am interested in a two year old XL EGG and I have some questions. What should I look for when I go look at it? It has a place setter and a nest. I know to look for cracks; is there anything else I should look for? What might a two year old XL EGG be worth?
Thanks for any and all input,
Scott

Really low price...because you'll have no warranty.
What's the odds of you successfully relocating it without breaking anything? -
How is it stored? Under a shelter or directly in the elements? Where are you? That's about a $1000 worth of egg stuff here in sc/ga. There fore I'd be wary about paying more than $600 due to the high cost of replacement parts.Slumming it in Aiken, SC.

Jeremia i live in Iowa and they have no shelter for it that i seen in pic they are asking 1100. with nest and plate setter Iwould not pay that amout for it
-
I paid less than that for my new xl in Georgia.
-
Unless it's a helluva deal, buy new with the lifetime warranty and live long and prosper
-
That's crazy prices. Just go get a new one. Heck some dealers even offer same as cash financing now. ---and you get a warranty that way!Slumming it in Aiken, SC.

I paid around $1600 for XL, nest, side tables, plate setter, ash tool, 20 lb bag of BGE lump and starter sticks. Oh and they assembled it and delivered it. Everywhere else in town wants at least $2000 for all that.
@seemore, for that price by new. If you want it say you will give them $550 because there is no lifetime warranty anymore and you will have to replace what cracks or brakes. New one is worth the warranty in my book. In the last 18 months or so I have had two claims, on for the plate setter and one for the fire box. I believe that would be around almost $200 out of pocket without the warranty.XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo. -
I paid $1000 for my XL at an Egg Fest. Included assembly, a nest, entrance to the fest, and 4 bottles of rub and a complete sample packet of rub. That was two years ago and I have a lifetime warranty.XL, Large, Medium, and Mini Max

Bite the bullet and buy new unless you can get the xl for around $600. Don't underestimate the value of the warranty. Good luck.Sandy Springs & Dawsonville Ga

They price them like people here in Columbus. I saw a large used with a crappy table for 700 the other day.Columbus, Ohio--A Gasser filled with Matchlight and an Ugly Drum.
