Hi everyone..
I think I'm ready to try a beef brisket. Ive watched alot of videos, read up in the forums so I'm going to give it a shot. One question though. I'm also an avid camper and I was wondering if I can vacuum seal the leftover brisket. Will it still retain the moisture and be just as good? I just want to be able to slowly reheat the leftovers over a low bbq.

I'd add a little beef broth to the vac bag before sealing. Did that with a brisket that I did last weekend (and slightly overcooked and dried out a bit) and the leftovers came out very tender and juicy.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.____________________Aurora, Ontario, Canada

All great suggestions. My brisket is only six pounds, so if I cook at 250, roughly how long would that take?

I have vacuumed sealed brisket slices and brunt ends then froze them for another meal down the road. I thawed them, made a small hole in the bad and heated it up in the microwave for about a minute and they tasted great. Not a bad idea to add a little juice either.XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo.
