Looking good , I have one I purchased, I get a ton of compliments. 

If if I had to do it over again. I would have used Pure Tung oil rather than spar. My only regret.

Give some thought to storage. Think about where you will store, the plate setter and other Eggcessories. I wish I did.

i am going to install a cooling rack on slides under the bottom shelf.

Thanks CDPlaya, I'm using TWP 100, clear because that's what the wife wanted. I admit it looks really cool, the clear just doesn't have any uva blockers so definitely going to have to use a cover. Does anyone know if I can use a urethane over the TWP?

My bottom deck was a little low at 17.5" so I had to use 2 bricks so the hinge wouldn't hit.

@d2xx grab a table nest for $30 and replace the top paver.  It will provide the clearance you need as well as air flow under the egg.  Last thing you want is to burn down your table.

Red skip where do you get table nests for #30.00. My dealer said it would be over $100.

@d2xx, the table nest should only run you $30. Your dealer is either trying to overcharge you OR doesn't understand what you are looking for.

I got my table nest for $37.99 on Amazon.  My local dealer wanted $50.  I suggest you switch out the bottom paver to a 20" or you will need to create a hole in the top center of the stone for the bolt holding the nest together to rest in.
