apAnyone know a place, either online or in Kentucky, where a guy could find Texas Hot Links? Got a cookout coming up for my BiL and his wife, and she's from Austin. Already doing a brisket, but would like to do some Texas sausage with it. After looking online, it appears Texas Hot Links would be what I'm looking for. I think...

Also, can you smoke polish sausage or kielbasa and achieve a similar result? If not, what can you use I I can't find the real deal?

I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.____________________Aurora, Ontario, Canada

Slovacek's are great and available at Sam's in Texas. You just made me miss TX more than usual w/ that pic.

Yep - two great brands there, call them and see if they'll ship directly to you or if they can tell you where the closest store is that carries their sausage. Another great quality local sausage to try is Smokey Denmark in Austin, they might ship as well.THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER

I have tried the sausage @Mickey linked above and they are available in grocery stores here in GA. They were excellent.
I have also heard good things about Kreuz Market if you want to order online. The prices seem very reasonable but the shipping is a little pricey. They pack in dry ice so that is understandable.

Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
