wife wanted a new kitchen table. I said what about a farmhouse table? She said YES. Didn't want to drop the cash, so I made it!  Plans are easy, and free on the Internet.  I am imagining a primerib in the center.

Nice, mad skills you have there.  Can't wait to see after you put on the finishing.

    Nice work!

So much better than the veneer ikea-like garbage out there.  And, you made it yourself!  Could easily be handed down later.

The greatest thing with the farmhouse style tables/cabinets, is that all the scratches and dings that it will receive, just add to the character....like a nice butcher block.

For example...my dad just bought a beautiful, exotic, fancy, dining room set that was practically brand new at an estate type CL find, helluva deal.  The 70 yr old single man, I doubt, ever used it.  Almost too pretty to eat on.  One decent scratch would stick out like a sore thumb.....two different styles.

Those Yetis work great at keeping the water rings down too.  My son, and nephew get 20s and put them down on everything wood.  No rings.
