I used my new cast iron skillet to make this. The raisins and dates were soaked in bourbon for 3 days. This is not a dish for the kids but it was delicious.

Now that looks delicious!---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.____________________Aurora, Ontario, Canada

Zooman, I got the recipe off of Simply Recipes. It was listed under Bread Pudding and you can add Bourbon Sauce to make sure you have the correct one. I followed the recipe almost exactly except that I added 1/2 cup of dates and I soaked the dates and raison in ancient Age for 3 days. I added all of the bourbon to the sauce. It is definetly a holiday sort of cook and very alcoholic and cheery.
