Needed something for SNF

Needed something to cook as my first briskit time line wasn't going to work! Kept it simple with a chuck roast and a butt. 4lb roast 4lb butt. Meat church honeyhog and holycow is season of choice. Butt is done at 197° the roast is still going at 187°. Wife is still not home with my beer...I'll be back in a second. ..3hrs ago! I'll just smile and say thanks lol

Got one in my hand now. Still waiting on this chucky roast. I tried one few months ago and failed. I hope it was me stiil being new with the egg. I'm a lot better now and more confidence and still feel this piece is going to win. It's 199 and tough as leather in some spots. Letting it ride though.

Finished at 212° Pulled with ease. The bark was off the hook. This got thrown into the freezer for a chili next weekend.

Looks great, I'm salivating...if your wife is like mine, you just need to get into the liquor cabinet for some tequila one time....and she will make better effort going forward to get that beer back to you in short order. Enjoy!
