ordered the grill dome small 2nd level.
Anyone have any better ideas? Pics?
Doesn't work with the woo, but I think I can make it work.

No better (and likely worse) but here's a pic of a weber grill grate sitting on three copper pipe fittings ( on the woo elevated grate) that works for me.

@snoqualmiesmoker , That model is exactly what eventually worked for me when I was cooking on my sister's small BGE earlier this year.
I first ordered this
http://www.amazon.com/Extender-Ceramic-Smoker-Kamado-Kettle/dp/B00P2US4CE/ref=sr_1_6?s=lawn-garden&srs=8895445011&ie=UTF8&qid=1439071466&sr=1-6
and it was horrible. Tons of jagged edges just waiting to draw blood. Promptly returned.
Another advantage of the model you posted that's hard to see from the picture:
The "feet" take up much less space on the lower grill than most other designs.
Slight disadvantage: It doesn't collapse.
But overall it works so much better, that doesn't really matter.
FYI - With a small platesetter, the regular grill, and that extended grill, I was able to perfectly fit 12 bone in, skin on, chicken thighs - 3 packs of 4 from the local Sams.
9 on the bottom. 3 on top.

I've got one for my XL. It's in use now with a couple spatchcock game hens on it. Can use it for pizzas also to get the stone higher in the dome.XL BGE, 22" Weber Red Head, Fiesta Gasser .... Peoria,AZ

Morning All:
I don't think these are available any longer, but were created by Chubby quite a few years ago...called "GrateMates"...there are six total pieces of metal of two heights (one takes the grid to felt level & the other about 2" above felt level)...here is a two-level cook done indirect...
and another...
then raised level direct...
I normally level the felt level pieces in my small and only swap out when needing two levels.Have a GREAT day!

@SSN686 - I'm guessing that you had some USN run-time on the L. Mendel Rivers. Wondering as I spent a couple of years in the Med (La Madd) when you guys cruised thru in the mid 70's. Morning lousubcap:
I was with the Rivers from June 1973 (new construction at Newport News & part of commissioning crew) until April 1977...was on board for the Med run in 1976 (I'm old too!)
Have a GREAT day!
