Brisket - 4lb Denver Cut x2 vs 8lb "normal" brisket?

So my local butcher only has a 4lb Denver Cut Brisket.  He said he can tie them together and cook / smoke the same.  First time I'm cooking a brisket, and can't find much on the Denver Cut and also not sure how two 4lb pieces will cook either separate or tied together.  Help

The denver cut is chuck above the brisket.

So based on that, it's not technically a brisket nor should be cooked like one.

Brisket and chuck cook more or less the same.
