Marine spar question

Hello All,

Newbie here, I have a couple of questions.

I purchased a cedar and cypress table unfinished . I have just finished my Second coat on the underside of the table. I am told the Spar takes weeks to cure.

How ow long should I wait before I put the Egg in it?  And how long before I can cook on it once it is in the table?

thanks

About 24 hrs to touch, 36 hrs to expose to heavier moisture (not rain- think morning dew) if the coats applied are average thickness. About 1 week to full cure if in an average garage at 50% humidity.

I've NEVER felt summer humidity like here in SoCal before.   Except when I lived in Florida.  This has been the 'muggiest' summer in my personal memory out here.

This has been the hottest summer on record here in New Orleans. Tarzan could not take this heat...

The whole city stunk after Katrina for months and months, but yep, just the Quarter gets funky smelling - we can smell the tourists.

Just smells hot and humid everywhere else.
