HELP!!! Can't shake loose a message on my Apple

RRP
RRP Posts: 26,022
I was just on PhotoBucket on my Apple and suddenly a screen pops up with the usual crap about being today's winner blah blah. It says it is from
reward-flow.life-localized.com
of course it says to click on OK to continue which I don't think is smart!
I can not get past that message and have even unplugged it and it still won't shake loose.
Im on my iPad now - can anybody help me?

Go to settings and reset your network settings. I had an extortion message/ransom demand pop up last week and that was the only thing that fixed it.

Can you go to settings and clear history and cookies?

Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

Have you turned the iPad off and then restarted it?

The issue is happening on a Mac computer or laptop (OSX)?  I found this:
    https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6516975

If you scroll down one easy solution that may work is holding shift when you launch safari.  This prevents previous pages from reloading.

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

It's the iMac with the issue.

@RRP ... Sorry, didn't read all the fine print ... You know how confusing bankers make the fine print!

Thank you! I kept reading and following and every twist and turn still brought it back but after repeating the final most drastic suggestion of locating the probable file and transfering it to the trash I then found a second one and trashed it too!

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! Not sure what I would have done if I didn't have the iPad to read while trying to fix the iMac!

@Jeepster47 - Sounds like you would be a big proponent of Elizabeth Warren.  I like that about you.
