88% Rubio. Who would of thunk? And I thought I was liking trumps open minded stances and really thought that would have been the result. Learn something every day I guess.

Want scary read this- makes you a little worried about where we are headed. Not surprisingly, those who came of age in the Cold War era are less likely to consider voting for a socialist candidate. Gallup found that 34 percent of those 65 and older, 37 percent of 50-64 year olds, and 50 percent of 30-49 year olds would vote for a socialist. In contrast, 69 percent of 18-29 year olds indicated that they would vote for a socialist for the nation’s highest office-holder. Chalk that up to either youthful idealism or to a profound shift in the young generation’s political outlook that could have a lasting influence as they get older.
Greensboro, NC -
@Wolfpack- the above is not surprising to me. Today the gubmint "provides so much to so many". And the "Big Bad Socialists" of the 20th century (The Red Menace) is in a different space today. Thus your opinion of the pro's and con's of the gubmint intervention is quite skewed from those who have a different base-line reference.
Reminds me of a phrase, "Where you stand is where you sit." And just look around at the world climate today-no one could have predicted this mash-up 15 years ago. Off soap-box for now.

94% Rubio, only 75% Carson. Surprised me. Although I do tend to over analyze the questions on these things.
I know exactly where I stand on many of the issues but I'm torn on some of the others that I am not as informed about. I do admit to consciously and probably sometimes subconsciously choosing the party line when I don't have a strong opinion either way.
Seems like a lot of these I was like:In Manchester, TNVol For Life! -
Rubio (who I really like personally and love his story) was my highest, followed by Paul and Cruz. But honestly I'm looking hard at the only nonpoliticians from either side, Trump, Carson and Fiorina. Sick and damn tired of the lifelong politico, most of whom have never had a real job in their life.
Sanders was at the bottom which is not surprising since he's a self-professed socialist.

First of all, the Affordable care act's mandate nudges people to have insurance on a public insurance market. If you can't afford it, medicare (old people and disabled people) and medicaid (poor people like those with sh!tty minimum wage jobs) is expanded, but that's depending on what your state does or doesn't do. But it's increasing the number of people with medical insurance and disallowing people to be thrown off because they are sick where they are treated anyway at the expense of high prices for the uninsured. It also increases the age your kids can ride on your program. Prior to this you would have to go bankrupt if you are very sick. You still may have to, improvements need to be made.
Suffice it to say, customer satisfaction is much higher with Medicare and Medicaid over private insurance (this is a fact), the government being a managing entity except for VA. Affordable care is mostly throwing business to the private insurers, which is different than all the old government programs, so be assured customers/patients will get the crappy experience that all of us with private insurance already get.
All the "death panel" talk originates from fear politics and idiots eat that stuff up.

@KennyLee Yes - the VA is AFU. I have two brother-in-laws that are engineers at two VA hospitals and I've talked to them extensively about why that is. I think you would be ashamed. But suffice it to say, the affordable care act is not government health care like the VA is. It's not that hard to understand.
