Hello Eggers - The image above has popped up on Facebook more than once - does anyone know if this nest is a custom piece or if it's available from a vendor?
Thanks!

Do not know anything about it other than you darn sure better bolt it down unless you like your Egg very portable by being in small pieces.A poor widows son.

I would love to have that mounted on my boat...
But then again, I wish I had a boat big enough to mount an Egg on the deck. Ha...Ha...Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas -
My guess is it was custom made. It also brings up an age old question - I wonder if his insurance carrier knows about it!

@owenstanley First - Welcome. That is a great pic - thanks for posting, I love stuff like this.

check with smitty the smoker. He has customers who fish. Maybe they have something similar. tomwww.ceramicgrillstore.com ACGP, Inc.

First up-welcome aboard and enjoy the journey. That rig is quite unstable in the vertical plane. Mix that with the requisite adult supervisory beverages and over it goes unless permanently anchored as mentioned above.
And it appears to be on a boat-I have seen gimbal mounted BGE's in some boat pics here. Way above the circle I travel within however. FWIW-Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -
That...is SO COOL.

I remember seeing that a while ago. Here is a post from 3 2012, and Smitty mentions it was a few years old.

Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg. -
That stand is bolted to the deck where a fighting chair would go from the looks of it.

Might be okay at the dock but wouldn't want to try that in motion.Greensboro, NC

I am 99.9% sure that is a custom job. It looks pretty good to me.Louisville, GA - 2 Large BGE's

I would like to see one of these towed behind a boat ...

Awesome. I'm going to mount one of those on my kayak!

I've got a bass boat it would fit on... but the stainless would clash with the rest of the boat so I won't do it.

It's aluminum and custom for sure. There are tons of aluminum fabricators that rig boats and do this type of custom work up and down the gulf coast. If you can dream it up, they can build it...and it's all expensive.Houston, Texas
