Used SBGE for sale - northwest Indiana

Hi Forum,

I'm not to familiar with all of you on this forum but I've been hanging around; done a few discussions, etc. I have a LBGE that I will never let go of. But, I do have a SBGE for sale. Here is why I am selling it. We bought it about 6 years ago to use when we went 5th wheel RVing. I had a secure place for it and it has been well cared for. We took it RVing with us only about a handful of times and it has been cooked on "3" times. Then I covered up the 5th wheel RV. Then I had back surgery. The 5th wheel sat covered for 2 years. We are back at the RVing. BUT, the Small Big Green Egg is too much for me and my back to handle, weight wise, anymore. HOWEVER, there is a slight aggravating detail to the whole story. I really take care of my stuff but this time I did a snafu. While I was recovering from surgery for 18 months the SBGE sat in the storage area of the RV and it drew condensation. This really ticks me off. Thus, there is some rust on the grill and grate, and some minor pitting on the bands. Then I tried a Scotch Brite pad to remove the rust. That, in turn scuffed up the bands in a couple areas; not much - just a little. I will be more than happy to take off the bands and hinge and repaint them for the purchaser of this unit - if they wish me to do so. I used to do wood working for 30 years for a living and know how to spray paint - so, no need to worry about a good job. The pictures below are virgin pictures and have not been retouched by Photoshop or anything of the likes. The pictures are what they are and represent the overall good condition of this SBGE. Everyone on the forum knows the prices of the BGE's. So there is no need for me to make a sales pitch.  I would prefer to drive no further than 40 miles to meet someone half way. However, you will have to be serious and I will have to have a non refundable $50 cash deposit, to cover traveling to meet you, (up front for time and trouble), of which will be applied towards the purchase. We will have to settle on a purchase price and seal the deal before any traveling takes place. I am located 50 miles southeast of downtown Chicago - in Valparaiso, Indiana. I've tried to be honest in this post which hurts  because of my ignorance and letting condensation get at it. All I ask is that you be respectful and make your offer worthy of my attention. There is even an BGE ash tool and a few lightweight cooking utensils. Soooooo ...... make me an offer. Thanks for looking. More pictures are available. Feel free to personal message me or publicly ask questions. My name is Dean.
