New Owner and New to Building! Cedar table inside...

Hi all.
After seeing the high prices for a BGE table, I decided to try making one myself. This is my first attempt at any type of woodworking project. It's all cedar and coated with Epifanes spar.
I think it's a keeper!

Hard to tell which is shinier, the Egg or the table. IMHO you might want to put something between the Nest and the table, it might roast a little on high temp. cooks. Great job!

Nice table especially for a first project. Nicely done!!I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

Great job. I don't see any fasteners anywhere. Did you go off a plan?Lg & MM BGE, Humphrey’s Battle Box | Palatine, Illinois

Not really. Took some measurements at dealer of the cypress and mahagony tables. Then looked online at some plans. But in the end, it's all sized based on our preferences. It turned out to be 55" long and 27" wide.
No visible fasteners- all pocket screws. Didn't like the look of 2x4s on the outside of posts, so decided on hidden screws. -
Nice work. Looks good.

Nice job. A table really makes cooking on an Egg more enjoyable.
