OT - Hurricane Mesa, UT
I collected these pics for a post on another forum, thought some here might find them interesting.
For about ten years I was an explosives engineer for Air Force ejection systems. I worked a lot with Goodrich Inc, they had subsonic and supersonic ejection system test facilities built on top of Hurricane Mesa. The first pic is their cafeteria, I was very uncomfortable up there.

I have been to Hurricane UT, not on pleasant business however. I flew in and out of St George Airport. It is similar in that it sits on top of a mesa as well. Interesting flying in and out of that place.Ellijay GA with a Medium & MiniMax

...but...why does the cafeteria need to hang over the edge of that cliff? Why??Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg. -
Interesting pictures, very reminiscent of the plains of Nazca.
