I can't speak to the quality, but Amazon has a "lightning deal" (basically $5.00 off) on this 13" pizza stone. $20.00

Not sure what you intend todo but your link is showing a cooling box, not a pizza stone now it looks more like spam or a referal linkBGE MiniMax Rocks!

Something went wrong when I cut and pasted link. Certainly not spamming @duchminimax... Not sure how you interpreted as such. This is just BGE related item on sale on Amazon that some might find useful. if not-- fine by me. I'm not buying one.

Looks better this way, stone is nice but very thin compared to BGE stone, would not recommend i had one.BGE MiniMax Rocks!

A 3/4" corderite stone for less than $20 is a great deal.
- 13" diameter, 3/4" thick stone heats evenly
- Cordierite stone composition withstands thermal shock and higher heat better than ceramic
However, it appears the 3/4" thickness may include feet. Hard to say how thick the main stone actually is.Southeast Florida - LBGE
In cooking, often we implement steps for which we have no explanations other than ‘that’s what everybody else does’ or ‘that’s what I have been told.’ Dare to think for yourself. -
I think this would be perfect for a medium egg. If it is the right material, I don't think the thickness matters that much. My stone is pretty thin and has held up fine for 4 years.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
