Lake Erie walleye

My company had an outing on Lake Erie today for walleye.   Guess who caught the biggest one of the day!!   It was 27 1/4" and prolly 6 lb.   
Havent fished in years and just goes to show better to be lucky than good...

Nothing like ticking off the avid fisherman!  Good for you, and looks like a good day out.

Kind of like me getting hole in one and not really caring - while golfing with 3 die hard types who've been chasing it for years.  And I suck at golf.

@blasting ---EXACTLY.  We had about an hour left of fishing when I caught it and that put me in the lead for the $100 boat pool so I just hung up my reel and commenced to eatin my pbj's!

@marysvilleegger Where did you leave port from?  That's some really nice fish you have there, it's been a long time since I've been out on Lake Erie.  Nice to see a little bit of home from time to time, again congrats!
