Kick Ash Basket Warranty - or lack thereof?

The Charcoal Basket idea has been around for a number of years.
Any of you other old timers may remember the ones Sandbagger made, and then decided against...later on.

The KAB product looks reasonably well made, but I don't understand the apparent lack of any type of reasonable Warranty?

I'm pretty familiar with Eggs ...(and products made of mild steel being used in Eggs) from my own experience.
So, while I don't expect them to last forever...I would expect them to be reasonably warrantied for longer than 90 days!

My question here isn't about people's experience with the product ...but has anyone spoken with them directly and have an explaination on why such a short warranty period?

Thanks in advance!!

It's a good product... Not that you have any reason to trust my opinion, but it is.--it's made of mild steel so it's gonna rust. But the one in my large has lasted a year and a half and still looks good for another year or so. The newer ones are thicker too. Again, it's a good product.

I appreciate your opinion...and thanks for your report!!

No problem with it naturally rusting.

Once again though...it's not about the product perse', just the lack of any real expressed Warranty.

Its not just a 90 day "warranty" - within 90 days you can return it for any reason and get a full refund.

Any word back on when one will be available for the small?  I did put my name in.

Ok... Dondgc, I saw that...and I think that is more than fair!

But past that... is there a warranty expressed anywhere on the website...or can you tell me what it might be?
