Last Summer, I'm going to a local short track for race night with a good friend.  I asked him if he minded if I brought my friend Evan along to join us for the race.  He said sure.  When I got got there, he said "Where's Evan?"  He didn't realize I was speaking of Evan Williams.  We had fun that night at the races.

Now that Old Forrester is my grandmother's family's namesake!  Agnes Forrester was part of the lineage of the distillery....  Family still gets to pick and choose from the barns!

I bought my first bottle of Elmer T around Christmas time.  Let's just say it didn't last very long.

I'm jealous.  I like to hang with the colonel myself. Have you tried the rye? Good stuff.

The other night I laid sleeping,
and I woke from a terrible dream.
So I called up my pal Jack Daniels,
    and his partner Jimmy Beam
    and we drank alone...

I'm not usually a Fan of Straight Ryes...but many of the Bourbons I do enjoy have higher rye content in their mashbills!! I admit to liking a little sweeter as opposed to spicier. The Weller 12 yr...(a "Wheater") is high on my list these days as well!!
