Built-in BGE looking to get hooked - First Time Post

You could go simple and have a strip of rebar that pokes out a little to act as a hook. Or of you know of a good metal guy, have some iron ones made out that could be incorporated into the process of placing the stones, using the mortar to hold it into place.
Bottle openers.... those are too individual specific. I have one from Abita Beer in Abita Springs, LA. That's where a friend is one of the brewers there. I have a local micro micro brewery here in Atlanta, but haven't branded out bottle openers lately. Again, I'd look at a good metal guy, or look online at some of the web dealers like etsy or something the like.LBGE #19 from North GA Eggfest, 2014

Took me a sec to find a picture of what I was talking about.... Something like these that can be build-in to the stonework. I like the idea of hanging lights off something like these kind of hooks!

YETI for the bottle opener. Consider a three point vertical mount (a hook at the top and maybe a piece of horizontal angel below it) to stabilize the grill rack and keep the goo off your beautiful island. I just use a piece of SS channel on top of my counter with newspaper underneath. Many options - just the square root of money.
Always act so that you can tell the truth about how you act.

I plan to use an old Cola Cola one that's little rusted that I found 20+ years ago.
If I weren't going to use that one, I kinda like the animal ones that don't look like a bottle opener:

Thanks Dave. I like the first picture. That may work. Do you have a source for that picture with the four hooks?

Toxarch - No way my wife lets me mount a bear opener. I was thinking a polished chrome standard looking opener. I just can't seem to find one I like.

Those are specific hooks for a fireplace mantle. I was thinking that a little upward bend in that long arm would be great for securing into the mortar for the stonework......

BTW, @MDBrad - where about are you located? There's a couple of metal guys in my neck of the woods... I could do some asking...

I have a BGE bottle opener I got last Christmas waiting to be mounted when I build a table or something outside. Here it is and a link to a whole bunch more.

Dave, I am just outside Washington D.C., in Kensington, MD.

Good grief, there's gotta be tons of iron works guys out there doing blacksmithing because of all the railings, doors, etc that are all over that area.
Go find one and have them make you something unique!LBGE #19 from North GA Eggfest, 2014

Thanks for all the help! This is so great. I will report back with the results of the build.

A friend of mine has one of these on his outdoor kitchen: http://www.amazon.com/NasonWorks-Bottle-Opener-Magnetic-Catcher/dp/B00GN4Y35K“Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.” ― Philip K. Diçk

I'm in NoVA if you have any additional questions. I like to see what you've built so far. -
Williams Brewing has a nice selection of bottle openers, including a stainless one with no logos or markings. I mounted mine with stainless screws and 3 years later it still looks like it new.
