Pork butt done too early

I'm smoking a butt for the fourth and started late last night (the third). I was hoping it would be done sometime around noon and I could FTC till folks show up around 3. However it finished in about eight hours, while I was expecting more like 12-13.  so, I was way off with my time estimation. 

What do I do?

let it stay in the cooler for four hours then put in the oven?
put it in the refrigerator, then oven?

any help would be appreciate

    You can ftc for 6 hrs. Just preheat your cooler with hot water and throw your towels in a hot dryer for 10-15 minutes before wrapping.

    Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.
