This is $4460 for a 23" size in bronze metallic tile. The metallic and pebble are the most expensive finish.

Part of my research was looking for issues or concerns of what could go wrong.  I read everything I could find.  I googled every which way read back 15-20 pages in google and nothing, no cracking no band issues no gasket troubles...nothing. These tiles don't fall off.  Did you see the stocking stuffer.  you get extras of all the gaskets and teak knobs,  silicone gromets for the probe wires. These are over engineered to say the least.

In Canada an XL with stand side shelves plate setter ash tool is just over $2700 Canadian.  Again not knocking my BGE cooks great just a little different product.

Makes me wish I still worked in oil and gas not power production.  I saw similar kamados in Vegas and my wife fell in love, maybe after I get my new house, hottub, and home theater system I can get one of these

LOL - I'm a 71 year old f*rt but I learned years ago that no matter what I had or got then  somebody will have a bigger or better "one"! I accepted that fact of life 30 years ago and ever since I have been quite happy with what we have! It's not a cop out on life, but an acceptance of life. Happy Trails on this journey!

Not to worried about what others have but it is as my wife says I have very expensive hobbies.  When it comes down to me buying something I will research for months and spend more if need be to get the quality I want.  I likely won't own a komodo kamados because the quality of the egg more than meets my needs.  But who knows maybe...

My wife has a thing for the color royal blue. I showed her a picture of the Komodo Big Bad in their vibrant blue tiles many montha ago and she got very excited until I mentioned the price.

However, the next day she mentioned that "you know... the last kid gets out of college next year and the house will be paid off also so maybe we could..."

    Fingers crossed!

Now I just have to try and convince her that the one I like - the blue-black pebble finish - cooks better. :)
