Something's up. Watch out!

Yeah, she just asked me to take her out to eat. Our little girl just left to spend two days with her grandma, so it may just be worth it!

Got a quick question for you - I'm thinking of buying a Colster, but often time enjoy COORS in a can. COORS cans are taller and smaller in diameter than practically all other beers. What is the opening size of the Colster gasket? Seems like I recall a similar question raised about some bottled beer brands. TIA
-
Yeah. Does this work well with bottles? As some have mentioned on other threads, to cool down a Yeti 65 you basically have to use a bag of ice - then you are set for a week. Is the Colster the same way? The first cold beer just cools down the Colster and after that it provides a real service? Or do you keep the Colster in the refrigerator - or freezer - and only take it out when you need it?

It will NOT fit in a golf cart beer holder, so I'm out. @RRP, this will only conform to a standard can, so please stop drinking Evian (coors lite) and switch to ANY other lite beer in the standard size can!The Dude: This is a very complicated case, Maude. You know, a lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what-have-you's. And, uh, lotta strands to keep in my head, man. Lotta strands in old Duder's head. Luckily I'm adhering to a pretty strict, uh, drug regimen to keep my mind, you know, limber.Walter Sobchak: Nihilists! *uck me. Just picked up the 20 oz tumbler today. It says don't put in dishwasher or freezer. Thought about the colster too

My bad @rrp! I'll fit like a glove (reg coors). There is a "gasket" that fits over the stainless. Keeps the collected water (collects in the koozie) from running down your shirt as you tip 'em.The Dude: This is a very complicated case, Maude. I use the 'poor mans Colster' ... the Thermos Stainless Steel Insulator - $10 bucks. Works great, my drink's don't even know the difference, 'cept the Diet Coke™, somehow it knows.I've slow smoked and eaten so much pork, I'm legally recognized as being part swine - Chatsworth Ca.

I really like my yeti stuff... But not the colster. FwiwGreen egg, dead animal and alcohol. The "Boro".. TN

I have one and drink Michelin Ultra. Both in bottles and cans. The can looking item that comes with the Colster is actually a sleeve that will allow skinny cans and bottles to be snug with the gasket on top. In my experience the bottle sticks out of the top and in the sun will get warm but the contents down inside the Colster will stay ice cold. I love mine and it is the only Yeti item I use regularly.
-
Thanks @Mickey. So no "pre-cooling" of the Colster is required. I think I need to get one.

I got one for Father's Day. Took today off for mental health and drank Naragansett Shandys with the colster. I like it but I need to get used to the weight...thought I had some left a few times but was empty!Large Big Green Egg in a nest. North Shore of Boston.

I've had the colster for several months now. There are certainly some cans and bottles that do not fit snug against the rubber lip. FWIW the Colster is nice but doesn't get the A+ rating that the tumbler gets.

As with most things Yeti, I would try if it were less $. Maybe @henapple will sell me his.
-
@Foghorn..... I wouldn't buy another. The cups work so much better. After using cans the gasket will be too large for the bottles until it recedes back. I was very disappointed in it.Green egg, dead animal and alcohol. The "Boro".. TN

I just recently got the colster and the 20oz. I'd prefer the tumble over the coster for all cold drinks. Great for use with having a keg too.

Received one as a gift. 5 star rating here. Will be getting one for Lil' Focker's pop when camping. Bottles are for home, leather ZBB coozie is made for bottles. For camping, the Colster is perfect. Have since added a Yeti 30 thanks to a ****'s coupon. So now, I'm drinking the green kool-aid in egghead snobbery style! Plan to get another 30 soon.

I just picked up some of the Guiness American Lager (not bad) and it didn't fit in the colster - the bottle was a bit more narrow then a typical bottle and just slid right out of the colster. Still kept it cool - was just more of a precarious drinking situation then normal

@henapple, this would just be another reason for me not to drink beer from a can.

The wife got me one for fathers day and it works great but my beer never sits around long enough to get hot.

I like mine. I often use the added pictured neoprene with bottles. Works great either way. I use light colored neoprene in the sun. I can no longer guesstimate the quantity of beer left by the warmth. It just stays cold...

^^^ that looks like too much work to nurse a beer.
