OT- Yeti owners help
Im very interested in the Yeti Hopper. Any Hopper owners out there and do you like yours? I like how it seems very portable. What are your experiences? Thanks-

A yeti cooler is on the top of my wish list. That being said, for a soft cooler, I highly recommend a Polar Bear. I have owned mine for years, use it for my butts and briskets and take it camping, etc. Excellent product: http://www.polarbearcoolers.com/

@Crimsongator I have a tundra75 for long trips/camping. This would be for everyday from kids swim meets - football games to fishing overnight trips. Just curious if this fits the bill or I'm I better getting a smaller "hard shell" cooler-Todd

It will fit the bill. I am a fan of the roadie or tundra due to the hard side and value (over the soft). You would likely want to buy the sidekick which is a waterproof case that attaches to the Hopper.
The Hopper does not drain like the 75 does, you will have to pour the ice water out. This is where the Yeti Ice might help -
Thanks @smbishop I'll check them out .

I just got the hopper 30 about 3 weeks ago and I LOVE it. Works great. I put 18 bottles of beer and 16lbs of ice in it on a Saturday morning, opened and closed it 16 times, or so, until Monday morning and still had ice, really cold water and 2 beers. I'm not sure if I will use it for FTC though.

I have a Hopper 30. There is plenty of room for beers and water, plus enough vertical height for a couple sammies. It works well and is very well made.

If you want a soft cooler go for a polar bear and save some cash. It is just as good at keeping ice and 1/4 the price.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

I have the big Hopper. It works great and I love it. The only negative is until it gets broken in a little bit it feels like your shoving your hand into a sharks mouth!
